BOONE, N.C. – App State field hockey recorded its season high in goals with a 6-3 drumming of Davidson Sunday.
"We have a great in-state rivalry with Davidson, so I'm proud of our girls for coming out on top," head coach Meghan Dawson said. "We didn't do everything that we wanted, but our girls persevered."
Freshman forward Charlotte Bosma scored the first two goals of her career in the first half.
Bosma struck first in the sixth minute on a drive through the defense.
