Kent State Golden Flashes 9-6 Overall, 1-1 MAC East
NIU will face Kent State at the M.A.C Center in Kent, Ohio on Tuesday night at 7 PM EST. The Golden Flashes get their second home conference game of the 2016-17 season. They were able to kick off MAC play with a 100-90 shoot-out win over Ball State, last Tuesday night. Kent went 31 for 31 from the free throw line setting a new MAC record for free throws that night(previously 25), and came up only 3 free throws shy of the NCAA record.
