NIU Women's Soccer Earns Sport Program Give Back Leadership Award

The Women’s Soccer team has not only demonstrated excellence in service and citizenship but has excelled in it their efforts over the last three weeks in response to a situation on campus. They are using their voice to bring attention to situations in their community.

They have:

  • Organized and led a 5-day long demonstration/peaceful protest in place of practice to stand in solidarity with our Black community and the NIU Center for Black Studies following a hate crime on campus.
