Nine Women's Soccer Programs Recognized By NSCAA

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Mid-American Conference had nine of the 542 schools nationwide to have its women's soccer teams recognized by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) as 2016-17 Collegiate Team Academic Award winners.

Recognized for the seventh year in a row, the Zips' women's squad led by third-year head coach Noreen Herlihy posted a 3.52 GPA this past academic year.

Ball State was recognized for a team grade point average of 3.57 and Bowling Green with 3.55. Miami has a team grade point average of 3.49 and Buffalo with 3.29.

The Bobcats earned a 3.
