A three-year starter and anchor to an tough-nosed offensive line, Lucas Powell stands to possibly be the pro prospect emerging from Ohio University this spring.
Having worked entirely out of the Shotgun in Ohio's offense, Powell has been able to get some snaps under center in workouts and in events like the College Gridiron Classic and The Tropic Bowl. Powell has been able to prep a great deal since the season's end. He worked in Orlando with Tom Shaw for about three months in preparation for Pro Day.
Powell also had the opportunity to work with QB's at Gruden's QB Camp.
