The University of Akron track and field team garnered three berths to the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships on Friday, May 27, as seniors Claudia Garcia Jou (Barcelona, Spain) and Caroline Hasse (Potsdam, Germany) along with junior Phil Jagers (Solon, Ohio) posted qualifying marks to lead the Zips' performances on the second day of the NCAA East Preliminary Round.
