AKRON, Ohio - The University of Akron senior men's soccer standout Adam Najem(Clifton, N.J.) has been selected by College Soccer News as a first-team preseason All-America selection for the second consecutive campaign.
A year ago, Najem garnered second-team All-America honors starting all 24 games for Akron registering team-high marks in assists (11), points (31), shots (69), shots on goal (31) and game-winner (4), while ranking second in goals (10). Additionally, he became the sixth Zip to garner first-team NSCAA Scholar All-America accolades.
