MSU Extends Lead in Day 3

CARBONDALE, Illinois - The Missouri State Bears hold onto first place after day three of the Mid-American Conference Men's Swimming & Diving Championships. MSU closed out the day with 607 points. Miami currently sits in second with 527 followed by the Southern Illinois Salukis with 370.

The first event of the evening went to Missouri State senior Antonio Thomas who swam a 3:502.13 in the 400-Individual Medley. He was followed by freshman teammate Tyler Lewis who captured the silver with a time of 3:54.97.

In the 100-Butterfly, Miami junior Spencer Klinsky won his first individual event of the championship with a time of 48.
