Mountaineers Merriam Earns Senior CLASS All-America Honors

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – West Virginia University men's soccer senior Jamie Merriam has been named to the Senior CLASS Award All-America Second Team, the organization announced today.

The Gaithersburg, Maryland, native is the third WVU men's soccer player to earn Senior CLASS Award honors since 2012 and the second in as many seasons. Andy Bevin was recognized last season, while Eric Schoenle earned the team's first award in 2012.

"Congratulations to Jamie on this great achievement," WVU coach Marlon LeBlanc said. "We are very proud of all that Jamie has accomplished over the last four years and this recognition is a great way for him to end his Mountaineer career.
