Mizzou Wrestling Sits in Third Place After Day One of NCAA's

ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Four Mizzou wrestlers advanced into the quarterfinals of the 2021 NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships during session II on Thursday night (March 18). Mizzou’s other six wrestlers will all compete in wrestlebacks tomorrow.
After two sessions, Mizzou sits in third place. Below are the team standings after the first round:

  1. Iowa – 33.5
  2. Penn State – 28.0
  3. Mizzou – 23.5
  4. North Carolina State – 21.0
  5. Oklahoma State – 20.0

Redshirt junior Matt Schmitt (133), redshirt junior Allan Hart (141), junior Brock Mauller (149) and freshman Keegan O’Toole (165) will all wrestle in the quarterfinals .
