Trenton, N.J. – After day one of the 2021 MAC Wrestling Championships, eight-time defending MAC Champion Missouri has posted an early lead as the Tigers have 161.5 team points for first place, along with eight wrestlers that will be competing in Championship matches on Saturday afternoon.
Missouri entered the MAC Wrestling Championships as the No. 5 ranked team in the nation with a 10-0 overall record, including 4-0 within the MAC.
The 2021 MAC Wrestling Championships conclude on Saturday, February 27 beginning at Noon ET from Cure Insurance Arena. Saturday's schedule begins with consolation quarterfinals at Noon ET and consolation semifinals at 1 PM ET, followed by the Championship Finals at 2:30 pm ET (ESPN+).
