CARBONDALE, Illinois – The Missouri State Bears have taken control of first place as the second day of the 2017 MAC Men’s Swimming & Diving Championships comes to an end. MSU finished the day with 248 points through seven events. Buffalo follows close behind in second with 237.5 points and Eastern Michigan moves into third with 230.

Antonio Thomas started the evening off, claiming the title in the 500-yard freestyle. The Missouri State freshman made the NCAA B cut by touching in 4:19.97. His teammate, Minki Kang behind in second place (4:23.
