SPRINGFIELD – The second edition of the 'Duel in the Pool' came down to the final two events as Missouri State's men's swim team narrowly defeated Drury 112-111, while the Bears' women's team lost by a slim 117-114 margin to the Panthers at Breech Pool Thursday, Jan. 21.
With the 100-yard breaststroke and 200 freestyle relay remaining, the MSU men's squad made some breathing room in the 100 breast by finishing in the top three spots. Artur Osvath touched the wall in a pool-record time of 54.
