The Texas Tech associate head coach will take his first solo gig to Doyt Perry Stadium in 2015, replacing the now-departed Dino Babers.

On Saturday, it was announced that Dino Babers, who had been rumored to leave Bowing Green for another job, accepted an offer to fill the vacancy in Syracuse. On Tuesday night, Bowling Green Athletics announced the hiring of Mike Jinks, the associate head coach and running backs coach at Texas Tech.
Texas Tech had one of the most prolific offenses in the country this past year, ranking third in the country in total offense with 7,134 yards.
