Miami RedHawks pick up transfer DE from Arizona Wildcats

The Miami RedHawks potentially got their future anchor on the edge of the defense as defensive end Jalen Cochran is transferring from the Arizona Wildcats to continue his college career in Oxford per Tucson.com.

A three-star recruit out of Canton, Michigan in 2016, Cochran was redshirted last season and did not participate in much of spring practice this season due to “concussion-related issues”. He held offers from Iowa, Iowa State, and Michigan State as well as a number of MAC schools, including Miami.

Cochran has the frame to develop into a quality DE as he comes in at 6’4” and 235 lbs.
