Miami alums on opposing squads says MACtion will win a Cup
Here at Hustle Belt, we are the ambassador of all things MACtion, and that isn't limited to just when the players suit up for one of our Mid-American Conference member institutions. Much like that tattoo you got on spring break (I'm sure it was cool at the time), MACtion stays with you forever. Two teams are left vying for hockey’s prized trophy and both teams sport ties to the Miami hockey program, bringing a little MACtion to Lord Stanley's Cup.
The Stanley Cup Finals begin on May 30 and pit the San Jose Sharks against the Pittsburgh Penguins, with former RedHawk captain Tommy Wingels suiting up for the Sharks and former netminder Jeff Zatkoff on the Penguins’ roster.
