MAC Wrestling Earns Top National Honors
INDIANAPOLIS -- The NCAA released the second of four coaches’ panel rankings and the first reveal of the RPI ratings index for the 2018-19 season. In the NCAA Division I Wrestling Coaches Rankings, the MAC was represented with 31 wrestlers ranked, including two within the top five of the weight classes and six total ranked in the top ten. In the RPI ratings, the MAC witnessed 36 wrestlers ranked, including nine within the top 10 and three ranked in the top five of their respective weight classes. The final rankings will be one of the tools used as part of the selection process to determine the qualifiers for the 2019 NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships.
