MAC Women’s Basketball Has Chance To Make Statement

Last season, both the Buffalo Bulls and Central Michigan Chippewas reached the sweet 16 of the women’s NCAA basketball tournament. I am sure most of you know that, but I still enjoy typing that out. Much like last season, the Chippewas dropped an early non-conference game but are now rolling. Buffalo is struggling a little, though they are still 7-2 and ranked 69th in the RPI rating. Their prospects for an at-large NCAA bid can change drastically when they play host to 8th ranked Stanford on Friday. Central Michigan can all but guarantee themselves an NCAA tournament bid with a win against third ranked Louisville on Thursday.
