Cleveland, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference (MAC) Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), which is comprised of 26 students across the 12 MAC institutions, took it upon themselves to present its position and provide potential solutions to the time demands issue currently under review by the NCAA Division I member institutions.
The White Paper represents an effort by MAC students to have a voice in the national debate around time demands. The White Paper provides personal perspectives, opinions and a greater understanding of their concerns in the time demands conversation.
The MAC students made public their position in the hope that their concerns and potential solutions will be considered as a voice in the development of autonomous legislation and be involved in this discussion to provide a collective narrative from a student’s perspective.
