Ariadna Blinova, Akron – Sophomore, Riga, Latvia
Akron sophomore Ariadna Blinova remains undefeated in singles play for the 2016 regular season after posting a perfect 2-0 mark this past weekend. The sophomore helped Akron to a 6-1 win over Wright State on the road by taking down Karoline Haller, 6-2, 6-0, at No. 2 singles. On Sunday, she stepped in at No. 1 singles to battled West Virginia's Hailey Barrett to a 3-6, 7-5, 1-0 (4) triumph.
