The former All-State player from North Carolina showed promise as a freshman before taking a bit of a step back as a sophomore. His junior year was a breakout campaign, where he averaged 11.8 points and 6.5 rebounds. With the departure of the Weathers brothers, I expect we will see a lot more shots from the versatile big man. He has good mobility for his size and a decent outside shot.
Another factor that might help Logan McLane this season is the departure of so many great big men from the MAC. Not only will it open up the middle, it will also increase the pace of the action.
