Both of these teams have been difficult to nail down this season. Western Michigan is 6-12 on the season, but have played some of their best games against literally the toughest teams in the country. Buffalo has been all over the place with their performances as well.
This game was equally all over the place. Western Michigan held the lead 33-28 at the half, as neither team shot particularly well. The Broncos shot 39%, and the Bulls were an even more abysmal 30%.
Western Michigan then went cold as ice, not scoring their 10th point in the second half until a Seth Dugan free throw with 8:12 to play.
