Central Michigan snapped a two game skid, as Kevin McKay led all scorers and had a career high 33 points, grabbed seven rebounds and dished out three assists, as the Chippewas grabbed the win over Northern Illinois, 80-72 in Dekalb. Central Michigan moves to 16-10 (5-8 MAC) with the victory, and Northern Illinois falls to 11-15 (4-9 MAC) with the loss.
Shawn Roundtree added 16 points to go along with McKay’s strong night, and Cecil Williams added 10 points, grabbed five rebounds and dished out three assists. David DiLeo added eight points and grabbed five rebounds.
Central Michigan was able to knock down 25 of their 58 (43%) shot attempts on the night.
