There are many MAC players in consideration in the 2021 NFL Draft by the 32 clubs this Thursday through Saturday. Last season, two MAC former students were selected in the 2020 NFL Draft. In 2017, the MAC had 11 draft selections in the 2017 NFL Draft to tie a MAC modern era (seven rounds) record for the most students drafted in an NFL Draft (2005 NFL Draft).
In 2017, Western Michigan wide receiver Corey Davis was the fifth overall selection by the Tennessee Titans in the 2017 NFL Draft. Davis' selection was the highest ever for the Western Michigan program and tied for the second-highest ever selection for a MAC student-athlete.
