Four different Chippewas scored in double figures, as Central Michigan held on to defeat Tennessee Tech, 74-69 on Saturday afternoon inside McGuirk Arena. Central Michigan moves to 8-1 with the victory, and Tennessee Tech falls to 7-4 with the loss early on in the season.
Cecil Williams and Shawn Roundtree led the way for the Central Michigan Chippewas, as they both scored 17 points each. Williams also grabbed six rebounds and dished out four assists, and Roundtree grabbed five rebounds and gave out two assists. David DiLeo scored 14 points and snagged seven rebounds, and Kevin McKay scored 10 points and had six rebounds for the Chippewas, as they were able to get the win.
