Four different Chippewas scored double figures, as Central Michigan took over and ran past Montana State, 75-48 inside McGuirk Arena. Central Michigan moves to 7-1 with the win, and Montana State falls to 6-4 early on in the season.
As well as McKay, Shawn Roundtree added 14 points and dished out four assists for CMU. Cecil Williams scored 14 points and grabbed seven rebounds, and David DiLeo added 13 points and nine rebounds for the Chippewas. Central Michigan shot 47.5% on the night, making 28 of their 59 shot attempts. CMU made eight of 25 from beyond the arc, and also made 11 of their 13 free throws.
