MID-AMERICAN CONFERENCE ANNOUNCES WRESTLER OF THE WEEK
MAC Wrestler of the Week Missouri junior Daniel Lewis rolled through the competition at the Lindenwood Open last weekend, recording three wins with bonus points before defeating No. 7-ranked Yoanse Mejias (Oklahoma), 6-0, in the finals to claim the title at 174 pounds. In the opening rounds, Lewis recorded first period falls in the first round and semifinals, as well as a second round 10-0 major decision. Lewis, a two-time All-American, has now produced bonus point victories in 69.
