Trevor Jauch notched two dual wins, including a decision over No. 9 Chris Mecate, as the lead-off wrestler for the Panthers at two different weights over the weekend. Jauch won at 149 pounds in a dual against No. 12 Virginia Tech, and he won at 141 pounds when wrestling against Old Dominion. The senior moved up from 141 pounds to 149 pounds to take on Virginia Tech's Sal Mastriani, a returning NCAA qualifier who has been ranked for much of his career.
