MAC Offensive Player of the Week
Natalie Karlen, Central Michigan, Attack
Karlen contributed two standout performances for the Chippewas as they continued their rigorous early-season non-conference schedule. On Wednesday, Karlen was key as CMU went toe-to-toe with No. 25 Vanderbilt in a back-and-forth affair in Nashville. She posted four total points, notching 2 goals and 2 assists, in addition to collecting four draw controls. On Sunday, against Pac-12 foe Oregon, Karlen exploded for 6 goals, tying her career high, helping the Chippewas rally to a 12-11 overtime win. She scored the Chippewas' first 4 goals of the second half, lifting CMU to a 10-9 lead.
