Offensive Player of the Week: Buffalo RB Jordan Johnson
Buffalo senior running back Jordan Johnson (Buffalo, N.Y.) rushed for a school-record 282 yards and two touchdowns in a 41-20 win over Akron. He broke a school record that stood since 1991. Johnson only carried the ball 24 times for an 11.8 yards-per-carry average. He had touchdown runs of 61 and 39 yards and had 10 carries of at least 10 yards. Johnson’s 282 rushing yards were the most by a MAC player this season and the fifth highest total by any player in the nation.
