MAC Offensive Player of the Week Shampton in exciting fashion on senior day, came to the rescue for the Cardinals in overtime. Shampton scored the game-winner and lone goal of the game to push Ball State past Appalachian State, 1-0, Friday afternoon at the Briner Sports Complex. Shampton led all players with six goals and five shots on goal. The senior now has five goals for the season and 13 for her career. Shampton leads the squad offensively in points (15) and goals (5).
