MAC ANNOUNCES DISTINGUISHED SCHOLAR ATHLETES FROM SPRING SPORTS
166 Students honored in voting by Conference Faculty Athletic Representatives
Cleveland, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference announced today the Distinguished Scholar Athletes from the eight spring sports during this 2015-16 academic season as 166 students were voted by faculty athletic representatives at MAC institutions representing the ‘best of the best’ from each sports Academic All-MAC Teams.
Leading the way were 56 MAC women’s outdoor track and field students named as Distinguished Scholar Athletes. MAC women’s softball students had 26 selections and baseball honored 24 students.
