CLEVELAND, Ohio - The Mid-American Conference announced today the 2017 MAC men’s and women’s cross country preseason polls as voted on by the Conference head coaches. The cross country coaches’ have respectively selected Eastern Michigan men's and women's teams to repeat as MAC Champions.
The EMU men are coming off a historic MAC Championship performance, as EMU finished 1- 2-3-4-5, the first time this has been done in conference history. The finish gave the program its seventh consecutive title and their eleventh in the last 12 years. EMU stands as the winningest program in MAC history with a total of 21 conference titles.
