CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference announced its 2019 Gymnastics Academic All-MAC team Wednesday. A total of 55 student-athletes were honored with this award.
Four schools led the 2019 Gymnastics Academic All-MAC team having nine gymnasts honored for the award. Bowling Green's Julia Beyer, and Taylor Worthington along with Eastern Michigan's Courtney Bezold, Northern Illinois' Ally Ferber, and Central Michigan's Nora Fettinger were the only athletes to record a perfect 4.0 GPA.
The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.
