CLEVELAND, Ohio - The Mid-American Conference Women's Soccer Head Coaches have made their preseason predictions for the 2017 season. The Kent State Golden Flashes are the favorite to win the East Division while the Ball State Cardinals are the favorite in the West. When MAC Championship time rolls around in November, Ball State is predicted to be MAC Champions.
The Cardinals are coming off their second consecutive MAC regular season championship a year ago. BSU finished the 2016 campaign at 14-3-3 overall (9-1-1 MAC). This year's team returns 16 letterwinners, including the team's top three scorers from last season in Sam Kambol (six goals), Emily Scott (five) and Lauren Roll (four) plus a pair of experienced goalkeepers in All-MAC First Team selection Alyssa Heintschel and Tristin Stuteville.
