CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference announced its 2017 Women’s Outdoor Track & Field Academic All-MAC team Wednesday.
Of the 170 student-athletes named to the team, 9 of them recorded a perfect 4.0 grade point average; Rebecca Pietsch (Akron, Organizational Supervision), Danielle Dahl (Ball State, Executive Development Public Service), Becca Rae (Bowling Green, Communication Disorders), Sofie Gallein (Eastern Michigan, Communication), Sam Tollerud (Kent State, Exercise Science), Alison Olson (Northern Illinois, Sports Management), Alyssa Atkinson (Ohio, Electrical Engineering), Madeline Pacella (Toledo, Criminal Justice), and Jordan Anderson (Western Michigan, Occupational Therapy).
Miami leads the conference with 21 student-athletes receiving academic honors.
