CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference announced on Monday that the leagues 12 head coaches have selected the Miami RedHawks to claim the volleyball regular season title, as well as win the 2016 MAC Volleyball Tournament.
The RedHawks enter the 2016 campaign under head coach Carolyn Condit. As Condit looks towards her 33rd season with Miami, she brings with her 11 returning letterwinners and five newcomers.
Miami received nine of the 12 votes to take the MAC regular season championship title, while Kent State, Northern Illinois, and Ohio each received one.
In the MAC Tournament predictions, Miami received five votes to walk away champions, with Northern Illinois close behind receiving four.
