CLEVELAND, Ohio - The Mid-American Conference announced today the 2016 MAC men’s and women’s cross country preseason polls as voted on by the Conference head coaches. The cross country coaches’ have respectively selected Eastern Michigan men's and women's teams as regular season MAC Champions. Both teams are also the favorites to repeat as MAC Championship Champions.
The Eastern Michigan Men took home their sixth consecutive MAC title and had their best NCAA Great Lakes Regional in 13 years during the 2015 season. The team returns with a bulk of their team intact and ready to march towards their seventh consecutive conference title.
