The Associated Press named Bowling Green sophomore wide receiver Roger Lewis and Northern Illinois sophomore defensive back Shawun Lurry as 2015 All-American Third Team selections.
Lewis, who leads the nation with 1,476 receiving yards, is the first Bowling Green player since Brian Leaver in 1994 to earn AP All-America honors. He is the 24th Falcon to earn All-America honors in school history. Matt Johnson and Lewis earned honorable mention honors by Sports Illustrated earlier this week.
Lewis, a native of Pickerington, Ohio, was also a semifinalist for the Biletnikoff Award this season. He leads the country with 1,476 yards this year and is third in the nation with 15 receiving touchdowns.
