Senior Lauren Ingle tied the NIU school record for lowest 54-hole score with an eight-under par 208 to finish second individually at the Mid-American Challenge and lead the Huskies to the team title. Ingle's efforts chopped eight strokes off her previous career tournament best while her 69s in the first and third round tied her best career round. Ingle led the field in pars and was -5 on the par 5s for the tournament.
