Female Scholar Athlete of the Week: December 4th – December 11th
Kent State's Sam Tollerud, Track and Field (Senior, Exercise Science, 4.00)
Sam Tollerud finished first among collegiate athletes in the seeded pole vault on Friday at the Golden Flash Gala to open the indoor track and field season. Tollerud’s mark of 4.02m (13’-2.25”) ranks 7th in the country this season and qualifies her for the 2018 MAC Indoor Championships, where she will attempt to repeat as conference champion in the event.
