Kent State Takes Control of Women's Golf Championship After Round 2

NOBLESVILLE, Indiana - Kent State junior Wad Phaewchimplee turned in a championship record low score, 68, moving the Golden Flashes into first place with a three stroke lead over the field.

As a team, KSU finished the second round three-over par, posting a 579. All five of Kent State's players are in the top ten heading into the final round. Toledo finished the day five-over par, falling into second-place with a two round score of 582 (+6). Ohio's Emily Hughes carded three-under par to tie for second, positioning the Bobcat team in third with help from teammate Hailey Hrynewich, who is tied for tenth.
