Kent State QB Nick Holley out for season with torn ACL

Nick Holley, fifth-year senior quarterback for the Kent State Golden Flashes, is out for the year with a torn ACL, according to Allen Moff of the Record-Courier.

The MRI was conducted earlier this week after Holley was injured early in Kent State’s game against Marshall. The Flashes lost 21-0.

This is the third season in a row Holley has recorded a season-ending injury in his five years at Kent State, and the fifth time in the last two seasons that Kent State has lost a quarterback to season-ending injury.
