So let’s be clear, it hasn’t been a tremendous year for the Kent State Golden Flashes. At 1-2, with their sole victory being a win over FCS Howard, it’s not been one of those inspire confidence type front 25% of the season. This season started with Paul Haynes taking a medical leave of absence for undisclosed reasons and it has gotten progressively worse from there.
After a blowout loss to the Clemson Tigers and a shutout loss to the Marshall Thundering Herd last week, the Flashes close out their out of conference slate with a road date against the Louisville Cardinals.
