Kent State Captures 21st Consecutive Women's Golf Title

NOBLESVILLE, Ind. -- The Golden Flashes finish off their impressive 2019 season with a 21st consecutive Mid-American Conference Women's Golf Championship, after two days of competition at Purgatory Golf Club. Kent State shot a -14 on the day, including an 274 in the final round to tally a -7 par (857) for the tournament. Toledo finished second in the competition with a total score of 875, followed by Northern Illinois with a score of 896.

2019 MAC Golfer of the Year, and All-MAC First Team recipient Karoline Stormo shot a 65 (-7) in the second round to post herself at the top of the leaderboard throughout the final day and eventually capture the individual title with a score of 211 (-5).
