KENT, Ohio – The Kent State field hockey team (1-1, 0-0 MAC) defeated Saint Louis by a score of 3-0 this afternoon at Murphy-Mellis field.
The Golden Flashes got off to a hot start thanks to sophomore Katie Wuerstle. Wuerstle scored two goals in the first minute and 58 seconds to give Kent State a quick 2-0 lead.
