Kelsey Bittinger (Strongsville, Ohio) closed the regular season with another strong weekend, as she posted a double-double in both of Kent State’s matches. Bittinger totaled 29 kills (3.62/set), 34 digs (4.25/set), 4 blocks and 1 ace for an average of 4.06 points per set. She started the week with 12 kills and 16 digs in the Golden Flashes’ home finale, a 3-1 setback to MAC East rival Ohio. Bittinger led the Flashes’ attack with 17 kills and 19 points to take down Eastern Michigan in 4 sets on Saturday.
