Week one was good to the Eastern Michigan Eagles, after a blowout win over FCS Presbyterian. Sure, FCS is FCS, but a 61-14 win over Mississippi Valley State deserves celebrating considering the offseason (and last decade, really) that EMU fans have had to endue. A 50-point margin on Saturday may be likely again, but it is unlikely it comes out to EMU’s favor as the Eagles travel to Columbia, MO for a date against the SEC’s Missouri Tigers. A tall order, but dream a little dream, and just imagine the feeling in Ypsi should the Eagles shock the world.
