For the Ohio University Bobcats, Friday night presents an opportunity far greater than starting their season 2-0. With a win against the Purdue Boilermakers on their resume, Ohio goes from MAC East competitor to MAC favorite. A B1G victory would be an excellent springboard to Frank Solich’s first conference crown.
Purdue, on the other hand, is looking to bounceback from last week’s season-opening loss to the Louisville Cardinals. It was a considerably closer game than experts predicted and Purdue gave the Cardinals all they wanted and did a remarkable job keeping Heisman Tropy winner Lamar Jackson in check, or at least as much as possible.
