Talk about your not ideal openings for 2016 and you have to bring up the Bowling Green Falcons. Their season opening drubbing at the hands of Ohio State you can look past and not consider BGSU in a downslide. There was hope that week 2 would have brighter days for Falcons’ fans, but it turned out to be more survival than success, as they held off FCS North Dakota by only a point. This week, BG welcomes in Middle Tennessee State, also at 1-1. Must win games are a rarity for week 3, but for the Falcons and their fans to have any confidence of the pending MAC season, this is as close to must win as it gets.
